Forest spiders

Howdy!  A waving jumping spider climbs on a fern frond deep in a damp forested area of rural Douglas County, Ore., near Oakland on Tuesday, March 27, 2012.   
Jumping spiders are solitary are generally ambush predators. They have highly developed eyes and are considered to have the best vision among invertebrates.
A longer legged spider climbs on a nearby fern.
