Sideband snail trail
A large Pacific sideband snail extends a single eye stalk as it moves slowly over a rock on a rainy morning in western Oregon near Elkton on Saturday, April 20, 2019.
Sideband snails are found in the Pacific Northwest from Alaska to Northern California. Although the snail is considered common, fragmentation of its natural habitat is considered a threat to its survival.
