It's a large invasive nutria feeding along the bank of a small creek 2 blocks from the University of Oregon campus in Eugene on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2017. Originally native to subtropical and temperate South America, nutria (also called coypu) have since been introduced to North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. |
