Invasive species

Yesterday I was out looking for bullfrog pictures when I found a very active nutria colony in a pond near Roseburg, Ore.  Native to temperate and subtropical regions of South America the semi-aquatic rodent was introduced to North America, Europe, and Africa.  The animal is considered an invasive and destructive species throughout most of its range.   They dig up and destroy river banks and dykes.

I also found bullfrogs.  They're also an invasive species in Oregon.  They'll eat any animal that can fit in their mouth.
