After nearly a week of computer trouble I'm back up and running. I found a couple of local bugs to break in my new hard drive, and new version of Photoshop. 
I shot the ant by positioning my flash under the leaf. He was very cooperative stuck around till I got the lighting balance just how I wanted it.
