Arachnid vs. Amphibian

WARNING: The second photo in this posting is graphic and shows the spider killing the frog.
A paralyzed Pacific tree frog dangles in the web of a large black and yellow garden spider after it was attacked in her web strung in a blackberry thicket along a seasonal creek near Roseburg, Ore., on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012.

The spider attacks and kills the Pacific tree frog in her web.  The spider will use her acidic saliva and stomach acids to liquify the frog as she consumes it.
The spider consumes the frog.

I'm building an interesting collection of photos of these garden spiders.
