Hiding spider

A spider hides between the spiky barbs of a dried teasel flower at the edge of a wetland near Oakland, Ore., on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Teasels are native to Asia, Europe and northern Africa.  The plant is considered an invasive species in the United States.

My apologies to any arachnophobia sufferers in the viewing public.
