Homeless baby owl

A fluffy baby barn owl owlet waits to be placed back into its nest after being discover defenseless on a country road in rural Douglas County near Roseburg in southwestern Oregon on Friday, April 10, 2015.  According to animal rescue experts, if the owlet is uninjured it has a good chance of survival if placed back in its nest. 

Easter owls

The new crop of baby barn owls made their Easter debut today in the old barn on our ranch near Elkton in southwestern Oregon.
