Baby barn owls in Oregon

The great banana slug migration

A large banana slug slowly crosses a rain soaked country road in rural Oregon near Elkton on Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Banana slugs are known as the second largest land dwelling slugs in the world. A banana slug can travel at the blistering speed of 6.5 inches per minute.
Another big fellow crosses in the opposite direction. Looks like it's time again for the great slug migration.

Elk damage hunt
