Finely tuned instument

A rufous hummingbird grooms her dainty beak while perched in a blackberry thicket near Elkton in western Oregon on Tuesday, March 30, 2021. The 3.4-gram Rufous hummingbird has an epic migration. Some of the little birds travel 3,900 miles (one way) from Mexico to Alaska and back each year.
