Pretty as a painting

Pears usually don't ripen very well on the tree. They need a few days after being picked to develop their sugars and distinctive flavor.

Maverick remembered (August 29, 1936 – August 25, 2018)

It was a thrill to spot the familiar smiling face of Sen. John McCain as he was surrounded by a gaggle of journalist in April of 2017 in the tunnels under the Capitol Building in Washington, D.C. He was a true American hero.

Summer babies

The turkey family walks into an open area briefly on  their jaunt through the grass. The mother turkey seemed to mostly be eating wild blackberries on the edge of the field while her young followed along.
