Urban wildlife in Miami

I'm visiting Miami, Florida on a photo assignment. Had some time to walk around town this morning and I couldn't help myself but to shoot some wildlife photos.

A large wild iguana climbs through a mangrove tree just a few miles south of downtown Miami, Florida on Monday Dec. 4, 2017.

A couple of cute small lizards along an old wall.

I was surprised to see a feral chicken and her chick in downtown Miami.

A small Canis lupus familiaris and it's human watch the sunrise from the break wall around Brickell Key just off downtown Miami.

A dead rat on bark mulch at the base of a palm tree on Brickell Key.

A feral urban rooster.
