Cute little vampire

Sad ending

Fire on the mountain

A wildfire burns on a forested hillside near Elkton, Ore., on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016. A dry hot summer has lead to a prolonged fire season in southwestern Oregon. The fire, which started Tuesday afternoon, had grown to over 60 acres by nightfall.
The fire was burning about 1.5 miles from my home and we could see it from our back porch. The fire was luckily contained by this morning.
